Because car crashes are the leading cause of death and injury for teens in Washington state, Governor Christine Gregoire has declared October 17-23, 2010 “Teen Driver Safety Week.”

Since 2008, over 10016-19 year-olds have died on our roads and three times that many were injured. Most of those crashes are caused by teen drivers and involve speeding, drug/alcohol impairment, inattention or a combination.
